Choosing new jewelry for a healed or existing piercing offers many exciting possibilities!
To help you find the perfect piece that is both beautiful and ensures a proper, safe fit, understanding a little about your piercing's history is beneficial.
Why Details Matter:
Knowing specifics about your piercing helps our technician recommend the correct size (gauge, length/diameter) and style for your unique anatomy and the current state of the piercing channel. This ensures comfort, promotes long-term health, and makes the selection process smoother.
Helpful Information:
When you come in, it's helpful if you know:
Age of the Piercing: Is it relatively new or well-established and fully healed?
Current Status: Do you currently have jewelry in the piercing? If not, approximately how long has it been empty? (And how long was it worn before removal?)
Sizing History: Was the piercing ever professionally measured? Did you have the initial jewelry downsized by a piercer after the initial healing period?
Don't Know Your Specs? No Problem!
Many clients don't have this information readily available, especially if the piercing was done elsewhere long ago. Please don't worry if you're unsure!
Our technician can help. They can professionally measure your piercing during your visit to determine the appropriate size needed for new jewelry.
This ensures they can accommodate as precisely and efficiently as they can.
We look forward to assisting you in finding the perfect new piece for your piercing!
